I’ve witnessed a lot of weddings and been married for 7 years. I’ve developed a preference for what I shoot, and it’s not an “all that glitters is gold” sort of thing. Actually its very much the opposite… Although I do love a sparkly shoe… can’t blame me for that!
Before you contact me; take a minute to see if we are in line, style wise.
imagine warm, classic, timeless; yet creative photos of you and your Love
dream of romantic, carefree fluid imagery, with very few posed (read: stiff/traditional)
are getting married with the focus on GETTING MARRIED! (and not too hung up about the production of it all)
are a bit of an adventure seeker, with a love for the outdoors (bonus, if you’re getting married outside!)
you will celebrate family & friends, togetherness, and embrace those treasured candid moments
envision yourself looking through heirloom photo albums for generations to come, and reliving the stories of your first day of marriage with your family.
In a nutshell, I myself am not looking to shoot a particular style of wedding; but instead shoot a particular type of couple.
dont plan to send me a bunch of Pinterest boards. I like inspiration, but a JHP Bride or Groom trusts me to draw inspiration from wherever it comes to me from, in the moment
during portraits, let me direct you just enough to get the romantic, relaxed and fun photos you see in my portfolio
you wouldnt dream of handing me a shot list; outside of your (very important) family photos
if what you feel like is more important than you look like…. because its my goal to have you look back on your photos and remember what you felt like….
