Gibson Centre Wedding & Reception Dinner at Bistro Seven Seven for the win.
I want to thank Renee & Matt for selecting me to photograph their Gibson Centre Wedding & Reception Dinner at Bistro 77. During our meeting they said they were going for simple. A short and sweet ceremony at one of my all time favourite venues (this was my wedding venue too!). The Gibson Centre in Alliston is super classy; the perfect balance of rustic-chic. They had a small room on the third floor with beautiful light streaming in the gorgeous windows. The warm exposed brick, and reclaimed wood floors were the perfect foundation for the details chosen.
The décor was beautiful, and meaningful; a special nod to the Bride’s mother. Sunflowers were her favourite. In addition to Renee’s perfectly sunny bouquet, the aisle was lined with summery sunflower arrangements, and a beautiful photograph of her Mom with a large bouquet was on display.
The guests also proudly wore teal cancer awareness pins in honour.
Meaningful and intimate weddings like theirs are unique. You can witness the relationships and dynamics between the Bride and Groom and their guests. I love being the one to document those touching moments, and make them live forever.
We had a blast during our photo session. Renee was a rock star – 17 weeks pregnant and you would never know – she was definitely glowing though!
The reception dinner at Bistro Seven Seven was super amazing too. Guests settled in just in time to get prime seats for the Alliston Potato Festival parade!
The bridal party and guests were charming. The Bride – Stunning. It was repeatedly apparent that the Groom agreed 😉
It was a very special event, simply perfect.
Love the warm, reclaimed lumber floors and exposed brick walls.
A photo of Renee’s mom, with her favourite sunflowers, on display in honour.
Little Ring Bearer going back down the aisle, the other way, through his Mom and Grandpa lol (Blooper?)
Meanwhile back over at Bistro Seven Seven the reception dinner is gearing up to be a great time!
These 2 had the best seat for this years Potato Festival Parade!
All the very best you two!
